“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights.” — James 1:17
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” — Psalm 24:1

Begin by recognizing that time, talents, and money are already His.

    2. Surrender My Time

“God, I surrender my time to You. Teach me to redeem my days and use them for Your Kingdom and Your church.”

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity.” — Ephesians 5:15–16

Pray for faithfulness in attendance, service, and availability in the local church.

    3. Surrender My Finances

“Lord, I trust You with my finances. Help me to honor You with generosity and faithfulness in giving.”

“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.” — Proverbs 3:9
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7

Ask God for a generous spirit and consistency in supporting the local church.

    4. Commit to the Local Church

“Father, plant me deeply in Your church. Help me serve, stay committed, and build Your house with joy.”

“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.” — Hebrews 10:25
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” — Acts 2:4

Pray for unity, participation, and joy in being part of the body.

    5. Release It Back to God

“Lord, I give You my time, my finances, and my life again today. Use me for Your glory in Your church and in my community.”

“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” — Romans 12:1

     End in surrender and obedience.

  • 1. Pause and Acknowledge God

“Lord, before I move forward, I pause and recognize You are in control of my life.”

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Like a stadium pause, we stop to realign our hearts with God.

    2. Refocus My Time

“God, help me not waste my days. Reset my priorities so my time honors You and Your church.”

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” — Ephesians 5:16

The stretch is a moment to reset how I’m living my daily life.

“Let us not give up meeting together… but encouraging one another.” — Hebrews 10:25

I’m not sitting in the stands—I’m part of the team.

    4. Release My Finances

“Father, I trust You with my money. I will honor You with generosity and consistency.”

“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.” — Proverbs 3:9

My giving is worship, not obligation.

    5. Restore My Passion

“God, refresh my love for Your house, Your Word, and Your people.”

“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” — Romans 12:11

The stretch brings energy back into the game.

    6. Re-engage My Purpose

“Lord, I am not a spectator—I am a servant in Your kingdom.”

“We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” — Ephesians 2:10

I get back in the game with purpose and intention.

    7. Finish Strong

“Father, help me not just start well, but finish faithful in my walk with You and my commitment to Your church.”

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7

The stretch is not the end—it’s preparation for a strong finish.
